Brittany Smith, our Digital Operations Manager, is a familiar face to many of our agency and group partners. She’s equally at home brainstorming strategy with other marketers and deep-diving into the numbers to deliver valuable reporting and analytics. Most importantly, though, Brittany is passionate about continuous improvement—which makes her right at home on our “smart, dynamic, and responsive” team.

“It’s an exciting way to provide value and insight into what is working and what we can continue to do better,” Brittany says about her role. She’s applied those same insights to her career progression here at 3 Birds.

After attending UNC Chapel Hill, Brittany found herself drawn to stay in the Chapel Hill community. She began working at 3 Birds as an intern in 2012 and fell in love with the creative environment and driven colleagues. That experience drove her to join the team full-time, where she quickly fostered positive relationships with her colleagues and clients alike.

“I love to get to know my clients and for them to see me for who I really am,” Brittany says. “I’m the account manager who will put a cheesy joke in an email if I feel comfortable with you. I love having a client that I truly feel I could be friends with outside of work.”

Brittany’s list of accomplishments includes spearheading two major initiatives from an implementation standpoint for Scion. She enjoyed the opportunity these experiences provided for working cross-departmentally with a variety of colleagues, and also honing her delegating skills (something she has in common with role model Leslie Knope of Parks & Recreation). 

Outside of work, Brittany enjoys relaxing with a good book or a bad movie alongside her Miniature Schnauzer, Cooper. She says she’s also working up the nerve to go skydiving—and based on her accomplishments so far, we fully expect her to achieve it.
