Good writing isn’t easy. As a digital marketer, the difficulty of transferring words onto a screen and making them interesting can be a real challenge, especially when you’re trying to communicate with consumers in an authentic way. That’s exactly the type of challenge Paul Mirek faces every day—and one that he relishes as 3 Birds Content Manager.

“I’m never satisfied with just good enough,” Paul says. “It’s one of the reasons why I enjoy working at 3 Birds so much. We’re always striving to innovate and stay ahead of the curve, which I believe is one of the most effective ways to resonate with consumers.”

Armed with a creative writing background, Paul understands the need for authenticity when marketing to consumers. After graduating from Elon University, Paul worked as an SEO copywriter. It was during this time that he became dissatisfied with the traditional copywriting experience.

“To be honest, I wasn’t satisfied with the way in which marketing stories were being told,” Paul explains. “I came to 3 Birds and was immediately impressed by the way the company was personalizing the dealership experience online.”

This year, Paul will celebrate his fifth anniversary with the company. His dedication to his craft – and to creating exceptional content for 3 Birds clients – is what saw him through his transition from newsletter writer to content manager in such a short period of time.

Paul’s day-to-day responsibilities include serving in an editorial role for the dedicated content writers producing our clients’ newsletter articles, blog posts, and campaigns, as well as going over content for accuracy, quality, and compliance. But don’t think for a minute Paul is a lone wolf; in fact, he’s constantly communicating with members of other departments to gain a better understanding of what makes our product so special and why so many people choose 3 Birds, and translating these insights into our own content marketing initiatives.

In addition, Paul is consistently in communication with the executive team about new product development as well as tweaks to existing products.

Outside of work, Paul keeps busy with his dog Loki and his parakeet Cass. He’s also an avid music lover and comic book aficionado. His favorite comic book character you ask? Why, it’s Marvel’s Silver Surfer.
